We are eagerly anticipating our upcoming 2023-2024 Metro Atlanta YMCA Championship Swim Meet, just four days away! Here are some essential details for the event:

Date and Venue:

• Date: Sunday, February 25, 2024
• Venue: The Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, 750 Ferst Dr. Atlanta, Georgia 30318

Session Schedule:

1. Session One (10 & Under):

• Facility Opens: 7:45 am
• Warm-ups: 8:00 am - 8:55 am
• Meet Start: 9:15 am

10 & Under Warm Up Sessions-

8:00-8:25a- Tull Gwinnett, Decatur Family, Fowler, McCleskey, Canton, Forsyth County, Cowart/Ashford Dunwoody, Buckhead

8:30-8:55a- Summit Family, East Lake, West Cobb, Ed Isakson/Alpharetta

9:15am Meet Start Time

1. Session Two (11 & Over):

• Warm-ups: 12:30 pm - 1:25 pm
• Meet Start: 1:30 pm

11 & Over Warm Up Sessions-

12:30-12:55pm- Tull Gwinnett, Fowler, McCleskey, Forsyth County, Buckhead, Canton

1:00-1:25- Summit Family, Ed Isakson/Alpharetta, East Lake, Northwest

1:30 Meet Start time

Important Reminders:

• No parents (except volunteers and team parents) are allowed on the pool deck.
• Access to locker rooms for parents is only available in the upstairs dry locker rooms.
• Swimmers are allowed one small bag with essentials: towel, water bottle, caps, and goggles.
• Refer to the attached team layout map to guide your swimmer to the correct spot.
• Entrance and exit to the pool deck are from the spectator bleachers above.

Volunteer Opportunities: We are still in need of a few volunteers for both sessions. Please check the Volunteer Link provided and sign up for available slots.

Parking Information: Parking Link Pre-order your parking pass for discounts through the provided Parking Link. The Link may not be available for purchase yet so continue checking back for the available event link listed as "YMCA of Metro Atlanta."

Campus Map - Tech Parking Zones Map *Map from Georgia Tech Parking & Transportation’s Website. Unfortunately, the University does not create parking maps when roads will be closed for other events… THERE IS a Marathon that day so this WILL affect getting into the Aquatics Facility in a timely manner- please plan for this and see the list of road closures below.

Please see the attached map and the area I circled which is the closest to the CRC, which would be the most impact.

Some of North Avenue will be coned off, but traffic will still be able to travel in both directions.
