Good morning, Flyers Families!

I hope you are all doing well and settling into the new school year! We are excited to welcome our returning swimmers back to the pool and officially get our 2026–2027 Forsyth Flyers season underway next week!

Before practice begins, there are a few very important items that every family must complete. Please read this email carefully so we can have a smooth and successful start to our season.

SWIM TEAM EVALUATIONS – REQUIRED FOR ALL SWIMMERS

ALL swimmers must be evaluated prior to returning to practice. Evaluations will be held:

Today & Tomorrow: 5:30–7:00 PM
Next Tuesday & Wednesday: 5:30–7:00 PM

No appointment is necessary—simply come during the evaluation window.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE for returning swimmers: SUNDAY, AUGUST 16

In order to participate in practice beginning Monday, your swimmer must have ALL of the following completed by the end of the day on Sunday, August 16:

If these requirements are not completed by Sunday evening, your swimmer will NOT be able to participate in practice on Monday.

Please do not plan to come to the YMCA on Monday expecting to complete registration before practice. We need all registrations, memberships, and payments finalized ahead of time so our coaches and staff can focus on welcoming swimmers and getting practices started safely and efficiently.

2026–2027 PRACTICE GROUPS & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Bronze A – Monday/Wednesday, 4:45–5:30 PM
Bronze B – Tuesday/Thursday, 4:45–5:30 PM
Season Fee: $700 + $100 registration fee
$100 due at registration, followed by $140 payments on Sept. 1, Oct. 1, Nov. 1, Dec. 1 & Jan. 1

Silver 1A – Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 5:30–6:45 PM
Silver 1B – Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 5:30–6:45 PM
Season Fee: $1,000 + $100 registration fee
$100 due at registration, followed by $200 payments on Sept. 1, Oct. 1, Nov. 1, Dec. 1 & Jan. 1

Silver II – Monday–Friday, 6:30–8:00 PM
Season Fee: $1,250 + $100 registration fee
$100 due at registration, followed by $250 payments on Sept. 1, Oct. 1, Nov. 1, Dec. 1 & Jan. 1

Gold – Monday–Thursday, 6:30–8:30 PM & Friday, 6:00–8:00 PM
Season Fee: $1,400 + $100 registration fee
$100 due at registration, followed by $280 payments on Sept. 1, Oct. 1, Nov. 1, Dec. 1 & Jan. 1

Please also remember that credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge, a debit card is NOT charged this fee, so please make sure your payment information is current.

I know this is a lot of information, but completing everything before Monday will help us start the season organized and ready to focus on what matters most—our swimmers!
